Forget Boring Plastic Balconies! The frameless balcony glazing system is the perfect choice for those who value modern design, quality, and convenience. Originally introduced in Scandinavia, frameless balcony glazing is rapidly gaining popularity in Lithuania due to its sleek appearance, flexibility, and ease of use.

In balconies glazed using this system, no vertical profiles are used between the glass panels, allowing the balcony to look clean and elegant both from the inside and the outside, without disrupting the building’s façade. This gives the system an undeniable advantage.
All movable glass panels are made of tempered glass, slide smoothly within a single plane, and can be opened inward like the pages of a book — allowing the glazed balcony to be opened up to 100%.

Our professional craftsmen will complete your glazing project in just 4 weeks! The actual glazing installation usually takes only one day.*

*Depending on the complexity of the project, the timeline may vary slightly.

Advantages of Frameless Balcony Glazing

Functionality and Aesthetics

Glazing your balcony will protect it from unwanted environmental factors such as wind, rain or snow, birds, and insects. Your balcony will become warmer, and noise will be reduced. The frameless glazing system integrates seamlessly with any building façade.
Since this solution has no frames, you can enjoy unobstructed views of your surroundings, while the balcony appears spacious and bright.

Reliability and Safety

The aluminum profiles used to secure the system are strong and weather-resistant. The system features tempered glass for added durability, with polished edges to ensure maximum safety during use. The glass panels can be internally locked for ventilation, preventing children from opening them. This way, the balcony glass cannot be opened from the outside.

Easy to Use and Maintain

All movable glass panels operate on a book-like principle — the balcony can be fully closed, partially opened, or completely opened for an open-air experience. The glass panels open inward, making the frameless balcony glazing system not only convenient to use but also easy to maintain — simply open the panels to clean them safely and comfortably.

How Much Does Frameless Balcony Glazing Cost?

Although the cost of frameless balcony glazing is one of the most frequently asked questions from our clients, there is no single, definitive answer.

This is because every client’s project and required solutions are unique. The cost of frameless balcony glazing depends on the number and size of windows, the number of glass panels you choose, the size of the balcony, the complexity of installation, and the selection of components, materials, and mechanisms used in the project.

We therefore recommend filling out a short, no-obligation inquiry form to get a preliminary price directly from Siteks specialists.

Features of Frameless Balcony Glazing

Suitable Locations

The balcony glazing system is ideal for glazing balconies and loggias in both new and older apartment buildings. It is also used for glazing terraces, verandas, and entrance vestibules. This system allows you to preserve the building’s façade while creating comfort and coziness in the balconies.

Operating Principles

From the outside, this balcony glazing system appears as a continuous glass wall without vertical supports. The glass panels move on wheels along the upper and lower aluminum tracks. The balcony can be fully opened by sliding the glass panels to the side and folding them against the wall, where they stack like the pages of a book. This takes up minimal space and keeps the panels secure even in strong winds. Each panel can be easily cleaned without any risk to safety.

Installation

The aluminum profiles are durable and weather-resistant. The system uses two main profiles: the upper profile is mounted to the balcony’s top slab, and the lower profile is attached to the balcony railing. This method preserves the existing railing without alteration. Profiles are fastened to concrete or brick with brass screws, and stainless steel fasteners are used for steel and aluminum constructions.

Glass

This system uses 6–10 mm tempered glass. The edges of the exceptionally strong glass are polished, ensuring maximum safety during use. There is no need to install the glass in additional frames or apply impact-resistant films. There are 2–4 mm ventilation gaps between the glass panels. The standard glass panel width ranges from 500 to 700 mm, determined according to the specific conditions of the site. Horizontal wheel holders protect the glass panels from bending under strong wind conditions.

With over 20 years of experience in the glazing industry, we have gained professional expertise that ensures the quality of our work. Our factory holds a production control certificate, ensuring product quality and compliance with EU technical standards and requirements.
